Welcome to Assista ("App", "we", "our", or "us").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Assista mobile application.

By using Assista, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Reminder and App Data

Assista stores reminders, tasks, notes, and other information that you create within the application.

Location Data

Assista requests access to your device's location, including while the app is running in the background or is closed, in order to detect when you enter or leave places you have set and to trigger location-based ("geo") reminders. This feature only works if you grant location access, and background access specifically enables reminders to trigger even when you are not actively using the app.

Because geo-reminders are synced across your devices, your location data associated with a saved reminder is transmitted to and stored in our Firebase database, linked to your account. We do not use your location data for advertising personalization, and we do not sell your location data. We do not share your precise location data with third parties other than the service providers necessary to operate the App (see "Third-Party Services" below).

You can disable location access at any time from your device settings; doing so will prevent geo-based reminders from functioning.

Microphone Data

Assista requests access to your device's microphone only when you choose to create a voice reminder. Audio recorded through this feature is used solely to create or play back that voice reminder and is stored locally on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store microphone audio on our servers, and we do not access the microphone at any other time or for any other purpose.

Advertising Information

Assista displays advertisements through Google AdMob.

Firebase Authentication

We use Firebase Authentication to help users securely sign in using Google, Facebook, or other supported authentication methods.

Assista may store reminders, preferences, settings, saved geo-reminder locations, and related user-generated content using Firebase Cloud Firestore and/or Firebase Realtime Database.

This data is used solely to provide synchronization, backup, and cross-device access to your reminders and app content, including geo-based reminders. Voice reminder audio is not included, as it remains stored locally on your device.

Firebase Cloud Messaging

Assista may use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send reminder notifications, service messages, and important app updates.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Assista is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will delete it promptly.

৬. ডেটা শেয়ারিং

৮. সুরক্ষা

আমরা আপনার তথ্য সুরক্ষিত রাখতে যুক্তিসঙ্গত প্রশাসনিক, প্রযুক্তিগত ও সাংগঠনিক ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করি।
